Our family has a rich tradition of midwest summers spent "up at the cabin" in Hayward WI.
Several years ago we started a "S'more Tasting Contest" that has evolved into a fun yearly event. The entire family gathers for a weekend and, on the selected evening, we build a campfire and roast S'mores together. Each of the S'mores are unique and go way beyond your typical ingredients of chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker. The S'mores are judged for taste, creativity and presentation. There is a kids contest as well as an adult contest, with the winners getting a years' worth of bragging rights. In addition the winners get a cute S'more ornament for Christmas engraved with S'more Tasting Champion.
